Good GRIEF
In 2005 we lost our first baby when she was 3 days old. I had an intense season of grief, going slowly, intentionally through all of the stages they said would wash over me. Sometimes the way through grief like that is to pray, to cry out to God, and to paint.. so here I share with you those paintings, not meant to be masterpieces, just meant to walk me through.
The creative process is one that lends itself to opening up parts of ourselves that we can't seem to verbalize. It is a way to walk through events one fragment at a time, working through memories and feelings together.
