Even coffee stains and old filters can be beautiful! I have really enjoyed playing with my coffee lately. Besides using the old grounds for fertilizing my garden, I have been using them in my paintings (which is fun because it is kinda like playing with your food!). I love the idea that we can find purpose and meaning in even our messes and spills. God knows when we are going to make mistakes, and He always finds a way to help us grow and learn from them. They become invaluable learning experiences and part of our lives that make us more beautiful in the end! These pieces will be on display and for sale at my re-purposed show THIS SATURDAY (Nov, 5,2022) at Due North as part of the Forgotten artist event taking place in Harlan around the square. Over 20 artists will be there, so come check it out and see these 3d pieces in person! I'd love to see you there from 10am-5pm! If you live far away, hop over to my Paintings tab on this website and take a look at the re-purposed art I have for sale there! Thanks for joining my journey! -Deborah King | |
