Now that I have my own family we focus more on valentines for classmates. Sometimes we print and color our own notes for friends to go along with the candy exchange that say "God Loves You!" I try to include God's love, because it is the kind that lasts longer than the sugar rush after the day is out. It is a good way to share the most amazing grace and love and forgiveness we have found in Jesus!
Our Bible study group used to make Valentines for the nursing home residents with paper doilies and old fashioned lace. This painting was done with paper doilies used as a spraypaint mask. It reminds me of doing crafts with my mom, and giving my grandparents little homemade gifts.
My new series is all about love, you can check them all out here. Do you have a fond memory of Valentines day? I'd love to hear it in the comments below!
